Two Easy Colon Cleansing Recipes
The colon cleanse recipes are designed to be worked easily into your day to day life and do not require any special preparations or fasting.
Cleansing High Fiber Strawberry Salad: single serving. Healthy can still be tasty.
You will need:
2 1/2 ounces fresh spinach washed and torn into small pieces
1 cup strawberries, washed and cut
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 tablespoon slivered almonds
1 teaspoon ground flax seeds
1 teaspoon raw sugar
1/4 teaspoon poppy seeds
1/8 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Mix dry ingredients and liquid separately and chill both halves for half an hour before serving. Combine when ready to serve.

Oatmeal and blueberry cleansing breakfast: A simple and healthy variation on oatmeal.
It is important to choose a good healthy oatmeal to base the breakfast on. Instant oatmeal tends to be loaded with artificial sweeteners and sugar and is a poor choice in terms of a healthy breakfast. A good rule of thumb is that you want simple, no frills oats sold in a larger economy package. Avoid brands with added flavoring. Slow cooked oats are not that much slower than quick oats (with a less than 5 min cook time difference), but are better for you.
½ cup of cooked oats
¼ cup of skim milk
¼ cup of blueberries
1 teaspoon of ground flax seeds
Blueberries bring in sweetness without adding processed sugar. Mix the ground flax into the oatmeal after cooking and you will hardly even notice it. Oatmeal is also great for colon health because of its high levels of soluble fiber. It also boasts complex slow release carbohydrates (the good kind) that keep your energy level even throughout the day.

Some direct colon cleanse benefits you will see right away in the first few days are increased energy and vitality as well as more regular, easier bowel movements. Long term benefits include a more controlled appetite, sustainable weight loss and improved systemic health.
